NX 7.5 won't start. 1

I have an HPZ400 workstation that doesn't have license issues but when you start NX the splash screen pops up and then nothing. It evaporates. No errors, no ugraf.exe, just gone. This started suddenly as far as I know. I'm not sure how to debug this, any ideas ? We currently have 6 identical systems that have been running 7.5.3(7.5.1.5) since it was released.

Hi,
Could you please try opening NX7.5 POWER DRAFTING from programs (sounds wierd but please do try)????? Is it opening?
I faced same issue (NX is shown starting and then it never opens...ugraf.exe is initiated initially but then vanishes automatically)last year and thankfully after updating to a new version it never occured again.But before jumpig to any conclusion do let us know that it is the same scenario.

You have 6 identical systems and 5 of them are running ?
If so, On one of the working systems, open a NX session and then go Help - Nx logfile
the 5:th line will read something like
*** diskname:\directory\.... ...syslog

On the computer were NX doesn't start, open an explorer window to the equivalent directory ( note the username if it is in the address) Then set the display of the explorer to sort "date, latest top"
Then try start NX. It should create a .syslog , and the last lines in that will probably provide a hint on what's wrong.

I work support for NX and have seen this many times with NX7.5. Try the following and I pretty much guarantee it will fix the problem.
Using regedit (the registry editor), browse to the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\NX\7.5\Layout\Railing then delete FrameMarker
