Greetings,

We have an assembly that involves a component that is labeled ug.12354.prt . The assembly when loaded says it failed to find file ug.12345.prt (notice the 4 and 5 are switched). The tree in the assembly file shows the incorrectly named file and is ghosted out. I'm not sure what happened here, but hoping the correction is easy. Can a file name be changed within an assembly to match the correct file name?

Thanks,

BW

yes/no. the easy solution is right click on that component in the assembly navigator- replace component. then ... done.
It is not possible to "correct the file name" with other methods. ( there are a lot of other references "under the hood" which we users never see.)

Regards,
Tomas
