NX 8 True Shading

Hi is there a way to add more materials and backgronds in true shading.

Not that I'm aware of, but if what you would like is to have full control over the real appearance of NX models, particularly assemblies, I would assign materials to the bodies in the various part files from the 'System Material' palette.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

hi,

For background , just look into nx directory \UGPHOTO\true_shading: replace existing image with new one (the name of the file should remain the same in order to decive NX)
For better result use 1900 x 1200 jpg.

Maybe texture image can be replace too...
