We have moved to NX 8 and since that I have a hard time with Visualisation
Could you help on Preferences because whatever I turned on / off it doesn't work ...

- to see real math data I have to Update display all day
- when moving/zooming with Work Section ON, all math data is turning like Light weight representation

How I would reset all ?

Are we talking about when working in the context of an Assembly or inside of an actual part model?

Yes, in assembly ....
All components are Part and Exact however I can not figure out what to turn on and off in Preference

If you're already loading the 'Exact' representations of the Components, as opposed to the 'Lightweight', I'm not sure what you're referring to. Could you provide some images showing what it is that you're seeing that you consider as being unacceptable?

When I switch to a part, I have to Update display in order to see the math. For example o hole looks like a triangle and I have to update the display

If by 'switch to part' you mean, that you set pat to Work Part (Make Work Part command), then you can try this setting:
1. preferences/visualization
2. Faceting tab
3. Part Settings group
4. Part Settings section
5. Under shaded view set Resolution to Ultra Fine
I have tried this and it works. When it was set to Coarse, I had to use Update Display all the time. When I select a part and used Make Work Part command, the hole edge was not circle, rather polygon. And when I used above mentioned setting, the hole looked like it should. No coars polygon anymore.
But have in mind, that setting this to Ultra Fine will slow down working with NX. It will take a lot of time to update all the parts/edges everytime you set a part to Work. So, consider something else, rather than Ultra Fine.

Every single time, I am moving from one part to another (so not even asm file) I have to update display
I am not a beginer but I can not fix the preferences for this

Why is it that you think that you can't work with you model until AFTER you force a display update? Is it just because you don't like the appearance of the display or is there something which is actually preventing you from doing your job?

Well, I didn't had this situation until NX 8.
I guess, if I have a hole in my part, I want to see a hole not a polygon.
To do that I have to Update display
I can do the job but I do not like the appearance of the display....
So my question is this : can I reset the preferences (for visualization) to default to see if this help ?

Can you open the template file and change the Preferences/Visualization settings? The template file is stored by default in C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 8.0\UGII\templates.
For example, open the template file for modeling, that is model-plain-1-mm-template.prt or model-plain-1-inch-template.prt. Then change the Preferences/Visualization settings and save the file back in the template folder with the same name (model-plain-1-mm-template.prt). So basically, you just have to overwrite the original template file. Of course, the template file must not be read-only.
From now on, every new part you create with this template will have this new setting. Of course, this will not affect the old parts, created in previous template files.
I hope that this will help in customizing your template files.

REgards.
