NX Advanced Simulation loads very slowly

I find that NX Advanced Simulation loads very slowly with NX 8.5 or NX 9 on my laptop, while NX 8 is quite fast. Similar to this earlier thread:

trying to open the .sim file hangs NX 8.5 and NX 9 with steadily increasing RAM usage that eventually swamps the available memory. Has anyone noticed this and has any suggestions?

To add to this, on further investigation, I find that the delay is essentially in bringing up the Simulation Navigator. In particular, the following entry in the log file takes forever to get written:

Scenario Navigator Column Headers PART_NAME,On,504:STATUS,On,100:FILTER,On,160:ENVIRONMENT,On,200ESCRIPTION,On,200

This presumably refers to the rendering of the Simulation Navigator?

Hello!,
My suggestion is to build as much RAM as possible, this is critical in Finite Element Analysis and then in NX Advanced Simulation. I run NX AdvSim is a laptop with 32 GB de RAM and Windows8 x64, and runs OK, quite fast. Also a Solid State Disk (SSD) of 256 GB is critical, performance increase a lot!.
