Hello,

I am a beginner to NX Unigraphics, but I am familiar with Autodesk Inventor Pro. I am having a problem where when I try to sketch something and then finish the sketch to go to the 3D view, I am left with breaks in my profile even though my profile is closed in my sketch. For example:

I have made my sketch of a 100 by 150 rectangle:
I then click "Finish Sketch" and get the following image. Note how it is not complete:
I have tried to use the rectangle command, but I get the same result. Also, I have performed the extrusion I want without problems a few times, but occasionally I get this problem. I suspect there is an issue with how I am using the software. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Perform a 'Fit' operation after you finish your sketch.

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

It is possibly a view clipping issue. When you see this happen, try pressing the "Home" key on your keyboard; it will reorient your view to trimetric, and more importantly, it will reset the view clipping planes.
