I cannot seem to get Deformable Parts to work. After defining the part with deformable features in Modeling, when I go to the assembly and attempt to Deform it, I get ALL KINDS of grief, such as: "An attempt was made to associate an object with a second other part" (???), and this head-scratcher: "Selected objects will result in a self intersecting section Hint: Modify or delete the invalid curve" WHAT invalid curve? The part updates to any changes beautifully by itself outside the assembly, and I've tried to use sketched, fully contstrained extrusions whenever possible.
Perhaps I've completely misread how to create a deformable part in the first place. Can someone please give me an example that works? -thanks

Can you provide us the part file along with some idea as to what the intended behavior is supposed to be?

I don't know if this helps, because you can't edit deformations, but I just added all of the features and one expression and this has always worked for me.

I've created lots of deformable parts, and Hudson is right, it's far safer to add all of the features (datums, sketches everything) to the deformable part at stage 2 rather then just the ones you want to deform, then you can pick the precise expression/s you want at stage 3.
