I'm working in NX8 and having some trouble reattaching ID symbols when part geometry changes. With dimensions of course I can just right click and choose "edit associativity", then pick the new geometry and the dimension reattaches. However, with ID symbols it seems I have to recreate the symbol. It's not a big deal if there are just a few on a drawing, but if I have to recreate many of them it becomes a bit tedious. Anyone know how to reattach them without recreating them? Thanks.

Picture is attached if anyone isn't clear on what I'm talking about.

ID symbols can have multiple leaders each associated to other geometry and the symbol itself can also be associated to something else. If you have fixed the leaders (yours appears to be unassociated), now you have to fix the symbol itself. Choose Edit Origin..., turn off the associativity option (for now) and choose the point constructor. Choose a point near where the symbol is currently located and the old association will be broken. You can now re-associate the symbol or leave it where it is.
