NX face selection 3

Hello,

how can I change the rectangle selection that only the visible faces will be selected?

I will not select the faces behind other faces...
It is about that I want to change the color of an assembly, but only the color of the outer faces. I don't want to touch the parts of inside...
(so I could define which faces of which parts are visible from outside)

Any advice?

Nx version: 8.5

See the attached image.
1) Show the button "Allow multi select of hidden bodies and faces"
2) Turn off "Allow multi select of hidden bodies and faces"
3) set the selection filter to faces
4) do what you came for.
