I am new to NX (been a user for about 7 months) but have a background with Catia and Solidworks. I am working on adding parts to the Reuse Library but I have no real training. Essentially, I am looking at existing parts that others have created and trying to use bits and pieces from them to create new parts. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on books I can read to help? I am really looking for info on the use of the spreadsheets to control parts and the expressions.

as a 25+ yr NX user, those are things I don't use, spreadsheets and such...

But I believe the terms you want to be searching for is Part Families and Product templates
Youtube and Vimeo have some decent videos.

I do not think you will find the information in Books. There is Xcelerator training. Link Below.

The help documents, also work well.

There are a ton of questions that have been answered here and in the PLM forums.

I would start searching and doing youtube searches. The Information is out there.

If you get stuck ask a question here, many great and helpful users may have some answers and tip and tricks that you can't find in books or any other training materials.
