Hi All,

I have been searching this forum for while, really appreciate the support. I have been trying to make the journal from this link, thread561-332899: NX 7.5 - Export assembly BOM with part COG's , to work. Unfortunately I have just only been able to make it work for an specific seleccted part from the display. My aim would be to export to an Excel spreadsheet all data related to: Weight, Material, CoG position and Radius of Gyration per item contained in the assembly.

I have worked a lot with vba, but nearly nothing with Nx Journal, so any help will be much appreciated.

In my team, we need to prepare such spreadsheets quite often and I think this could save lot of time.

Many thanks in advance and apologies if this was not the right way to issue a thread.

Hi again,

Is there any issue with my explanation, got no replies... If the answer is already here I would appreciate if anyone could guide me.

Thank you in advance

The question is framed well and I don't know of any code on this site that is "ready to go" for your exact needs. There is some code posted here that shows one method of getting all the bodies in an assembly file into a list. Once you have all the bodies in a list, you can add a loop to process each one and report the desired properties.

Thank you Cowski,

My intent is not to get the code right away, but some guidance on how to achieve what I need. I will have a look to the link provided as it sound it may work from there.

Thank you again for your support.
