It will work with NX7.5, 3D modelling, drawing, nastran FEA. Complexity is around like 3 times engine oil vane pump.

I am looking for recommendation of the best mobile workstation.

I do not like security card that can be lost, and the machine will not be in USA.
Is I7 or Xeon cpu significantly faster than i5?
The screen 15 in size is max size I want
Go with 8 or 16 GB memory

Is Dell the best choice.
If yes go with 157000 or 6800 workstation. Or how about gaming workstation.

Please do not assume anything

Thanks

IF, you have the money,
The laptop ThreeCircle describes is the top choice.
Probably there is a similar machine from HP.

That machine is also a Siemens-certified one , the reason you should use a certified computer is that if you have trouble with the graphics on a certified computer, GTAC will try help you .
If you have graphics-trouble with a non certified computer, GTAC will say "Try a different graphics driver, we cannot help you further."

Tomas

I am looking at DELL 15-7000 (7510) workstation right now.

NVidia Quadro M2000M - 4GB GDDR5
cpu: i7-6820 hq, quad core 2.7 GHz, 8 MB cache

Is it compatible with NX7.5 or later?

This is latest model by DELL, and replaces 4800 ws.

Despite what might be officially published, most any version of UG/NX from about UG V17.0 (released in October 2000) thru NX 10.0 (and NX 11.0) will run on the current generation of HP and Dell hardware, at least if you running Windows 7 (I can run all those versions on my two-year old HP laptop running Win7). Granted, GTAC may not wish to support some of those legacy systems on today's hardware offerings, but they'll probably work just the same.
