Any info on when to expect the release of NX Nastran 6.1?
Waiting for those pyramid elements, etc. )

yes. pyramid elements, very useful for connecting dissimilar meshes, e.g. hex and tet, without the need for RBEs and similar methods..

I met with some UG sales guys last week and they said that 6.1 was released and that 6.2 is coming out this quarter has anybody been able to get 6.1?

I just checked and NX Nastran 6.1 is not yet available on the GTAC product download site. I'll have to follow-up with some of our people to get a better idea of when it will be available.
