Hi all,

We are using the Routing Application to route piping. We are making a part list of the routing, and have added the solids of the stock into the part list so they are also shown with attributes and lengths. The thing is when we use Auto-Balloon, the balloons for these solids are not placed.
Is there any way to get them annotated in the drawing?

Thanks

Hi Cowski thanks for your response. I saw the thread, and I did manage to get all the solids in a part list, including callouts. I am just having trouble adding balloons. This is not handled in that thread unfortunately. There is a possibility to use Convert Stock to Components, but I rather not use that since this will create thousands of extra parts.

Hi Guys -
NX ootb provide a Special Routing Partlist that support bodies and components....
Simply make a “save as” Of this partlist - Then adjust Columns and fields....

Work as expected....

Thank you Iklo. This did not work in the OOTB version at first, but I think I figured out why.
We are using a separate prt file for the drawing. According to our load options the reference set of the part with the routing will be on MODEL in the context of the drawing. In this setting, the routing will not be included in the part list. When changing the reference set to Entire Part the routing is included and also annotated.

But... I think I found out why in our specific situation the pipes are still not annotated. It is because we have the pipes extended into pressure fittings. So the edges are not visible, which are normally used to attach a balloon to.

I could solve it by showing the hidden line, but I rather not to this. Is there any way to let the balloon attach to a straight piece of the pipe?
