NX to Teamcenter Reconnect

My IT department in there infinite wisdom times out our teamcenter connection if you have over 8 hrs of inactivity.

With extremely large Assy's I some times have to allow an operation to run over night. I have the ability to independently restart teamcenter. Is there a way to reconnect to TC from NX. this issue was raised on thread 561-328993.
And I saw no resolution. I seem to remember this was an option in NX5

I remember seeing something about this at PLM world this year. I think it is in NX 9 they have a way to reconnect. Also in NX 10 they have improved upon what was done in NX9.

Hey,

Several months I work with NX9 and TC10.
If for example lan conection was break - NX show message box with button to Reconecet web-tier.
And after I can work without loosing my data.
