I'm having trouble launching UG this morning. Nothings changed since yesterday but now I get the following message when I attempt to run the software.

ERROR HANDLING FAILED
"Run out of space whilst trying to allocate block of 1599034463 bytes"

Has anyone encountered this before? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you're having some sort of virtual memory problem. I would suggest that you call Siemens support.

Am I seeing that correctly, about 1.5GB? Hmmm. Reboot as was already recommended.

If rebooting doesn't help then is your drive full? If it is, the culprit is usually very large files
filling it up. Sometimes an application gets stuck in a loop and writes
to a temp or log file continuously until your system is unusable.

Check to see your virtual memory allocation isn't ridiculously huge.

Clean out all Windows user temp files. Windows creates a lot of files but so does NX.
Delete all of them; Windows won't allow you delete the current used temp files.
Users temp files are usually in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp.

Fairly obvious but empty your trash in case the max size is set to ridiculously huge.

If you want to search for large files then open an Explorer window and
type size: in the search field. Various size choices should pop up and
you can select the size range you want to search for.
