I'm laying out some simple geometry in NX10 using the line feature. I want to use some high contrast colors to differentiate the lines.
However, when I select the line > Edit Object Display > change color, and I pick yellow, or cyan, or lime green, the display in the graphics window looks like a darker hue of those colors. Yellow looks like a dark gold, cyan looks like royal blue, and lime green looks like a forest green.
I am using the standard light grey gradient background.
If I change the part background to a darker color, like black, the lines show up the intended bright colors.
I feel like NX is noticing that the colors I pick would not produce very good contrast, and is automatically changing them to darker colors that better contrast my background. Is this the case? I think I'd rather be able to pick colors that make for poor contrast and come back and change them on my own if desired.
Any experience here?
