NX10 exploded views 2

I have a co-worker, who is a new NX user, and created an exploded view in the model file.
He renamed and saved the view, and tried to import the view into his drawing (master model is being used here), with the view wizard, and when that saved view is imported it comes into his drawing as un-exploded.
Is there a trick with importing exploded views into a drawing ?
It has been several years since I worked with exploded views.
We are on NX10.

The explosion probably isn't saved in the view your importing.
Or it would be there.

As a rule
* View "Save As"
* "Orient View" to the one you just saved. (This makes it the active view)
* Create explosion

You can try importing all of the other available views one at a time.
It'll be in one of them.

The exploded view must be created in the drawing, you can't explode a view in the model file and import it to the drawing.
