The company I work for has the Solidworks pdm system which we've been using for about a year and a half. We also run NX11 on windows 7 with no problems. However, in evaluating a Siemens certified laptop with windows 10 and NX11 we are getting a repeatable crash when trying to open anything on the pdm system through NX. The work around is to double click on the file in a windows explorer session.
Try to open a file and NX crashes (not windows). Try to import a step or parasolid file and NX crashes. None of these problems happened with NX11 on windows 7 on the desktop computer.
Yes our var was called, yes gtac was called. What I'm trying to find out if anyone else is running NX with solidworks pdm, and if so have there been any issues with compatibility.
Any feedback will be appreciated.
