NX13 Copy Paste

Hi All,

When I,m making a tekst and use the copy and paste shortcuts (crtl+c, ctrl+v)NX behaves different after this actions. I can't use my numpad any more and the save (ctrl+s) shortcut gives an licence error.

Any suggestions?

rightc lick in the icons and - Customize, press the Keyboard... button in the bottom ( this is NX12 names, do not know if the 1847 are different)
there is a button to check existing shortcuts and set new/different ones on existing ( such as "M" for Move component instead of "M" for Modeling application. (Modeling app also has Ctrl+M as shortcut.)
- Check that Ctrl+c or Ctrl+V isnt used for something different than copy pasta.

I feel most of your issues are because you keep incorrectly referring to it as NX13.

I have a crashed harddrive at the moment. no access to any other NX version than NX12.0.2.

@tomas, I've looked into the keyboard shortcuts. There are no other assignment than the copy and paste ones.

@Xwheelguy, please download the new license file and take a good look at the name of the license file........ (if you don't have a real answer or solution, maybe you could send you feedback a commedians forum, cheers )

It might be related to the issue you are experiencing, I'd suggest reporting it to GTAC.

Thank you very much. Post above edited because you’re a good guy - and not just because you agreed. I hope there are no hard feelings.

To be honest, I don't like the choice of name either (or a few other things that were changed and didn't really need to be) - not a fan of big change but not much we can do about it other than deal with it I guess.

Still I havend figured out why NX suddenly does not react to my keyboard the way it supose to react?

More fun facts... ?
Simcenter 3D ( which is = NX without all the CADCAM stuff, Simulation Only.)
The corresponding version is now named "Simcenter 3D 2019.1 Series"
Previous version was Simcenter 3D 12.0.2

and, the NX version which will ship late this year has the code name 1872,
which is the birth year of Carl Friedrich von Siemens.

Lars, regarding the keyboard issues,
I know this is a bit odd, but...
Do you by any chance have a gaming mouse, with its driver installed ?
I have over the years seen a few cases where this type of drivers interfered , in strange ways, with NX.
