Its an easy enough thing to do to place a point on an existing point. However, I would like to know if one can do this on multiple points at the same time?
I work with weld spot files. Files that are a large group of points with specific data in their attributes. The spots will be on both LH and RH side of bodies. To do my job, I often have to mirror a group of spots over to see if they are exact from one hand to the other or if there are differences.
The problem is I cannot transform the points in this file. So I need to first create points on the existing points and transform the points I create. I do this so often, it gets quite redundant having to pick a point, hit apply, pick a point, hit apply, pick a point hit apply, etc...
Is there any way to window around a group of points and create (non-associative) points on top of them all at the same time? Then it would only take a second to create all the points, and then I could easily mirror them over.

My brain is like a sponge. A sopping wet sponge. When I use it, I seem to lose more than I soak in.
