Hi,

F1 looks like its locked globally for Help. I want to re-assign it to some other command. How can I do this?

Also, Looks like I cannot assign F11 to any command. Any solution for this?

This may not be exactly what you're wanting, but I got so tired of hitting F1 by accident and popping-up the online help.

I've been using it for years now. I've also changed my tilde key to delete to I can keep my hand on my mouse. Oh, and I disabled insert as well. I've hit it by accident many times, but never actually used it on purpose, same with sketcher. I wish I could find a way to disable that too.

Try to create a .men file like this

Code:
VERSION 130

EDIT UG_GATEWAY_MAIN_MENUBAR
MODIFY
 BUTTON UG_ASSY_ISOLATE_COMPONENTS
 ACCELERATOR F1
END_OF_MODIFY

HI Gelson,

I want to map . Which .men file I need to make ? I thought ug_main.men would allow this. but I did not see how to associate the accelerator.

F1 HIDE
F2 SHOW
F3 INVERT SHOW / HIDE
F4 IMMIDIATE HIDE
F5 MOVE OBJECT
F6 REGENERATE VIEW
F7 REFRESH
F8 LAYER SETTINGS
F9 DELETE
F10 INFORMATION OBJECT
F11 MEASURE
F12 HELP

Thanks for help..

Don't edit original files from install folder like ug_main.men

You could create a custom file like custom.men and place on startup folder "C:\Users\******\AppData\Local\Siemens\NX110\Startup"

after the statement "BUTTON" you need write the command name

take a look on NX for a list o commands
menu>information>custom menu bar>report tool
