I have found several journals that will search for notes, but none of them seem to work right.
I simply want to type a note into a box, then the journal will look for that note on the current DWG sheet. If it is there, it will say it found it in the info window and if it is not on the sheet, it will say it is not found.
Optional ideas that would help, but not important....
1) It would be cool if it would highlight the note and keep it highlighted until you hit OK. This will help us locate the note quicker.
2) It would also be cool if when the box pops up for us to type the text we are looking for, would contain the last text typed. This will make it easier so quite often we might only need to change one character for the next one we search.
WHY?
We have files with a lot of spot numbers on the sheets. Changes happen and we often need to find a particular spot number. Something like this would help us locate it so we can make the change easier and quicker. However I do not want the search to go through every drawing sheet every time we run it. This would take too long to open each sheet every time. So it needs to search only the current sheet.
If anyone can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

My brain is like a sponge. A sopping wet sponge. When I use it, I seem to lose more than I soak in.
