nx2 part with read-only 2

Hi,
I received the CD from customer with nx2 parts. I copy the file to my computer. I opened the property and unchecked the read-only in widows explorer. Then I open the part. I could not modify, save because on the title bar still shown file name and read-only. Is there any protected mode in nx software to lock the part from modify. Thanks

If the folder was also copied from the CD, it will also be read-only.

Hi,

Parts created by part family have internal atribute Read only. Please try use Save as.
