Hi everyone,
We are trying to make use of the Realize Shape module that came with our bundle for our non-parametric applications (STL imports). More specifically, to get the methodology down for future projects.
The use case is pretty simple in concept: generate a Realize Shape body from a convergent body, enlarge it (dragging) and then use a boolean to integrate the enlarged body into the original one. Doing so will give us room to integrate parametric bodies.
However, the convergent and subdivision bodies have many intersections and are out of tolerance. Same for sewing after trimming the bodies.
Is there an existing method that would make this workflow possible?
I would have liked to attach a prt file but I'm getting 404s, so a picture is the best I can do for now.
Thank you in advance.
