Hi,
I have been struggling with repositioning components within an NX3 assembly.
The problem is that the UG "handles" that you can drag or rotate etc... are in the wrong position on the component.
I have used the "move handles only" option and managed to get them into the correct orientation and location on the component, which is fine until you select a 2nd instance of the component to move.
You then have to orient and locate the handles on the 2nd component and so on...
When you revert back to repositioning the 1st instance component, the handles have automatically gone back to their original location.
This happens every time i try to reposition each of the 4 instances that i have on screen.
I have an assembly open that is comprised of:
1x Sub assembly containing 2 components mated together ready for spot welding.
4 instances of the same spotweld gun (the instances are of a dummy spotweld gun which is being used to ensure that there is clearance for access.
I have tried many ways to rectify this but just cannot get the handles to stay in the location and orientation that i want them.
Am i overlooking a simple solution perhaps? I'd certainly appreciate a resolution to this.
Many thanks for looking.
Lee.
