NX3: Info window data retention 1

Morning...
Anybody have a clue as to how to set the information dialog window from losing the info if the dialog window is closed? In previous versions, you could close the window and any/all info would be retained for later use, but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how to get NX3 to behave the same... Any ideas? TIA...

I believe this was an asked for enhancement. If you minimize the window the window maintains the information, if you close it the window gets cleared.

It is programmed in by UGS and is controlled by the method that they use to create the info window from the MS API's.

You could do a File -> Save As

Just in case this was overlooked...

The F4 is the key accelerator to hide/show the information listing window (without destroying the window contents). It is the same as the icon with the lower case blue letter "i" that is available (but not on by default) in the "Standard" toolbar.

Thanks dude, have a shiny new star on me. I sometimes amaze myself with the little nuggets of knowledge that I can never seem to remember, especially when I really want to! I haven't been heavy into accelerator keys in the past but (obviously) perhaps I should revisit the subject. Thanks much...
