Hi John,

Is it possible to open ug from TCE 2007, if NX4 is installed on a network drive (mapped drive), or is it mandatory that UG should be locally installed?

As per my opinion, it should be possible. But support people here are telling that UG should be installed on local drive, so as to work with ug inside TCE 2007.

Anyone is using Teamcenter 2007 with NX4 installed on a network drive?

You will find that NX is not certified to run with TC2007,therefore, no one will be using the two together because they are not supported. We are in the same predicament, being on NX4 and TC9.1.3.6c and wanting to upgrade, but we need to do both NX and TCE together.

Hope this helps

Best regards

Ok, now let me explain complete scenario.

As you told, we had used NX4 with TCEng 9.1.3 for most of the time, before we went for TCE 2007 with NX4. Earlier NX4 was installed in a network drive (to use with TCEng 9.1.3), so applying MR's and MP's was easy because of single installation, now NX4 is installed on all local drives of more than 60 computers, the reason being told was, 'NX integration with TCE 2007 requires local ug installation.' I doubt how far it is true.

In couple of months we are going for NX6, and as usual, TCE 2007 with NX6 local installation!
