John Baker of UDS placed a very good one on the PLM website. They weren't created in NX4, but should work fine. You need a webkey account to get access.

Try It driven by Solidworks but you can download user created models in other CAD formats a long with neutral formats like Parasolid, IGES and STEP.

SolidWorks 2005 SP5.0 on WinXP SP2
SolidWorks 2006 SP3.3 on WinXP SP2

The good thing about John's hardware files is that they are parametric part families, and are very easy to use. It definitely beats having to use "dumb" solids.

ewh,
Can you provide a link to the above suggested link?
I've searched but cannot find.
Thanks

If you have a webkey ID and password (most licensed customers should have these already since you need this to download updates) I can upload the latest copies of my fastener libraries to the GTAC scratch area where they can be downloaded from. The problem is that this area is purged on a regular basis so files only stay there for a few days at the most.

So if you can access the GTAC scratch area at let me know and I'll post the files.

For the next day or two, you will be able to download from the GTAC scratch area my fastener libraries. The files names are:

fasteners_metric.zip
fasteners_english.zip

If you do download them, please read the ".readme" files in each library as there is useful information there. Also note that each library contains .pax file which can be loaded as a palette for easy access to the library from the resource bar.

Note that at the moment, these libraries are slightly updated from the ones at PLM World as I've added at least one new item to each of the English and Metric libraries this past week or so and I have yet to forward new copies to the PLM World site.

Thanks John,
After prolonged wait for a web key, I was finally able to download the files. Will explore the website in more detail next week.

Thank you John. This is a big help when we need some bolts.

Very well done.
