I am using NX5 and Teamcenter 2007. The problem I am running into is knowing when another engineer has modified a part while in NX5. In the assembly navigator there is no column that shows a symbol when either an assembly or a part has been modified (or at least that I can find).

I can go to teamcenter and search for the item and check in teamcenter, but it is time consuming. Is there a way to show parts/assemblies are out of date and need to be updated in NX5?

Thanks in advance,
Matt

In the assembly navigator there is a 'modified' column available - you may have to right click in the navigator and add it.

I have the modified and out of date columns added to my assembly navigator. However they never seem to change. Is there something that needs to be turned on in teamcenter?

Talk to your Teamcenter administrators there are columns that you can add to either the side panel to the product structure page alongside the item masters, or you can add fields also in the PSE. Sorry but I couldn't think of the field names off the top of my head but it will be a date field, last modified.

Best Regards
