NX6 Break out section 1

I can't make a break out section in NX 6. When I expand the view to put my curves in all options under insert curve are grayed out except text. If I put the curves in modeling I can't select them even though they are on my work layer.

Anyone got any ideas?

Try using the 'Lines & Arcs' toolbar.
