NX6 - Drafting Table with parametrically linked values

Good morning. I have a part in NX that has multiple compound angle surfaces. I have created a print in drafting mode. I want to create a table that shows the first and secondary angles, but has the values parametrically linked to the angles from the model. My original thought was to create attributes for the part where value was the angle from the model. When I go to File > Properties > Attributes, the Type drop down box is greyed out, only allowing a String type. Am I approaching this in the wrong manner?

Let's say Angle 1 is P84 with an angular value of 30 degrees. What is the best way to get this value, 30 degrees, into the table in drafting mode such that it is parametric? I need the table to change if I modify the angle in the model.

I assume that you are working in master model . . . right?
You can use interpart expressions to bring that value into your drawing - but it has to be toggled "on" in your user defaults.
 
Even if master model is not used, you should be able to use expressions.

Note that if you use a Tabular Note, even if you're using the Master Model approach, there's no need to create 'Interpart Expressions'.

What you do is create your Tabular Note, then select the desired 'cell', press MB3 and select the 'Edit Text...' option. When the Text Editor dialog opens, select the 1st of the 3 icons (Expression) on the 'Relationships' tab. When the next dialog opens, select the 'Link to Part' button and a list of all of the part files in your session will open. Select the Master Part model for this drawing and you will see a list of all of the expressions in that part file. Now simply select the appropriate expression and hit OK. Note that you can control the number of decimal places displayed by changing the values in the 'Format' option. Repeat this for as many of the Angle values that you wish to include in your 'Drafting Table'.
