I have a component in an assembly. It has a few attributes and I want to get those attributes into drafting. I know the master file attribute code is <W&@DRAWN> where DRAWN is the attribute. If I want to reference an attribute of a component in an assembly what would I do?

Go to...

Insert -> Annotation...

...and below the text entry window in the dialog, change the 'Category' option to 'Relationships' and then select the 'Insert Object Attribute' button. Then select the Component of interest (make sure that you're selecting the actual Component) and you will get a list of all of the Attributes currently assigned to the Component. Simply select the desired Attribute and hit OK. The necessary information, in the proper format, will be entered automatically into the text entry window.

Thanks that worked well, and I was able to see that you can also insert equations with a different button as well.
