NX6 TURNING FORM TOOL

Hi
Ive defined as form tool to use withing NX6 turning,problem is when I come to generate a toolpath I get the error message

"Invalid tool type for turning tool"

The opition to define a form tool is given in the Create Tool form but doesnt seem to allow it to be used for a toolpath?

Any pointers to where Im going wrong please.

You can only use a form tool in teach mode and then only with point - to point motion and not follow curve.
