NX6 Visible in View 1

I am working on someone elses model file who used Visible in View in the canned model views.
I set all the layers to "Selectable and Visible", did a "Reset To Global", and then saved the view, but it doesn't seem to be fixing it.
I can't figure out what I am doing wrong.
How can I set these model views so the layers toggle on and off the way they should?

as I remember, when you press "reset to global", you should press "cancel" but not "ok"

Thank you. Yes, it was "cancel" and not any of the other two options.
I thought I was going crazy here, I just couldn't get it to work.
