NX7.5 Opening IGES Directly into NX from Internet.

Is there a way to by either clicking on an IGES file from the windows explorer, and or the internet to open directly into a native session of NX?

I have tried setting up the windows XP folder options but I am not having any luck. I have contacted GTAC about a solution but they guy I talked to was going to disucss this with some others.

Reason for this is we cannot download files from our computers and we somtimes need files from Mcmastercarr to use in some of our assemblies.

I download their solid models quite a bit.
I think you'd have better results with what you are working on if you download STEP instead of IGES.
I have never tried opening them directly from the Internet. I save them someplace and then open them.

I really don't think you will be able to do what you want, as far as pulling the files directly off the Internet.
I think the best that you can do is download them someplace else (home) and put them on a flash drive.
