NX7.5 some things are not working 1

All of a sudden today a couple things are not working:
The Command Finder
The NX Log File

There could be other things not working that I haven't noticed yet.

Could they be minimized someplace in my workspace ?

I am working on Windows7 with 2 monitors.
I am somewhat new to Windows7 and NX7.5 so I don't quite know my way around yet.

You cannot access them or they are not working. What exactly is going wrong?

First thing I'd try: Preferences -> user interface -> Layout -> reset window position.

Thank you reset window position worked

I really wasn't sure what was going on.
I did not know if they did not work or they were someplace where I could not see them.
