NX7 and ports

Hello,

Which ports are using NX7? I know, that basicly the port is 28000, but I think there two more. Our firewall blocks ports which are used to communicate with users PSs. Then firewall in server is off - everything works fine.

The flexlm licensing uses two ports, 28000 is set, the other is randomly allocated.

You can fix the second port by editing the license file.

1. Stop the license service.
2. Use a text editor to open the license file.
3. Edit the line:
VENDOR ugslmd

so that it becomes

VENDOR ugslmd PORT=28005

the 28005 is the port number you want to use

4. Restart the license service.
