NX8.5 Weld Symbol Tail

Hello All,

I have spent the last 1/2 hour reading existing topics on the NX Weld Symbol. This is prompting a new question. Is there a way to customize the size of items like the tail of the symbol and to be able to add items to a symbol like a racetrack to reference a general note or an upside down triangle to number reference a weld. All of the posts talked about how to change the spacing or standard of a file. Is there any suggestions to change the size of the tail and possibly add other features to a weld symbol?

Does that follow an ASME standard? I don't see them on any AWS chart, so I wonder if it was just a P&W standard? As I recall, P&W did it with a grip program.
