Hello,
Is it possible to, given a point set as a .txt or .xls file, import these into NX8 and then create a spline fit from these? The spline is easy to do, but I cannot find where I would import these points for an NACA airfoil.

Help is appreciated. Thank you!

The spline command will import the points and create the spline all in one command. The file should be a text file with the extension ".dat". Start the spline command (not the studio spline), Insert -> Curve -> Spline, choose the through points option, then the Points from file option. This will allow you to browse to your file, import the points and draw the spline.

In NX 8.5 we've added an 'Import Points from a File' function which will created a named-group of points from the X,Y,Z coordinates in a .txt file.
