nx9 cast retirement

I heard in Nx9 there is no cast. It had changed to something online.
What is the process to get access to online cast?

To learn about the program, 'Learning Advantage', which is replacing CAST, please go to:

And if you have a paid up license for CAST, there is a process to convert those licenses over to 'Learning Advantage', so if you're interested please contact either you Siemens PLM Software representative or the organization that you've been getting your software and support from.

NO release of NX 'comes with CAST'. It was an extra cost product, as is 'Learning Advantage'. For more information, please see the link in my previous post in this thread.

I think NX8.5 Cast exists but it has been removed from the download listing.
Maybe you can request it from your sales rep.

Siemens obviously wants us to move to the Learning Advantage.
which requires admin work for us sysadmins, since you have to setup the users who should have access.

Technically, NX 8.5 is the last release for which there is the option to use it with CAST. And you should still be able to get it, but you may have to directly contact your Siemens PLM representative or the VAR that you are getting your local support from to make arrangements to get a copy of the files.
