Actually this could be for any time one needs to draw a line, whether in expanded view or not, but expanded view is where we would need this option....

When drawing a line from the corner of a body to a corner of a different body, is it possible to change settings so the line will actually come out 2mm short on each end?

We often draw lines in expanded view to show two bodies are in-line or to represent the floor. These lines are not supposed to actually connect to the bodies, but should cut short. But when selecting the two corners of bodies we want the line to be in line with, the line always connects right to the bodies.

I know there is the LIMITS options in the lines, but this only seems to turn available to use when editing a line. Can it be turned on when creating a line so the limits will be 2mm after the first selection and 2mm before the second selection?

To note... I tried recording a journal of creating a line from two corners and I was able to manipulate the journal to shorten the line 2mm at each end. Unfortunately, I cant figure out how to change the journal so that the two points are left open for the user to select new body corners. It will only repeat making the exact same line automatically. lol

Only thing I can think of(without extensive coding), is creating 2 offset Csys first at a 2 mm offset from the corners and then create the line between those two csys features.
