NX9 Journal - change note on all sheets?

Hi All

We have some jobs that the customer is requiring a rev 01A instead of 001. If we change this the correct way, it cause the file to not pass File Checker (To my understanding. I have not checked that myself). The way they have been changing it is to select the actual note in the title block, which reads .... <WRef1*0@DB_PART_REV> .... and manually change it to "01A".

The problem with this is that if making changes or for any other reason you click on the title block program, it reverts it back to the code/link text. So to pass file checker, the file name needs .001 and the rev level needs to be 001, but we need the title block to say 01A. (Yes, from what I am told, GM bought off on this.)

What I am looking for, and I hope its not a difficult task....

When I am ready to run file checker in a file, I would like to run a journal that would pop up a window asking me to type in the change level once. I would type in 01A and click OK, then it would quickly run through each sheet within that file and select and change the rev note "<WRef1*0@DB_PART_REV>" and change it to "01A". If it does a sheet that already has 01A in the rev section of the title block, it wouldnt matter if it changed it to the same thing or ignored it. Just so long as every drafting/drawing sheet within that file has 01A when it is done.

Now if it is easier for some reason to create one that you run from an assembly level and it does it for every drawing sheet within the assembly and details, that would be great too, as it would help us run through jobs that need to be changed. But this would be secondary to having the ability to fix the files as we are in them.

To make this more difficult, I realized that the rev note in our Sheet1 is in a different location than in all other sheets. lol

Not sure if this is a bad thing or not, but we will sometimes have B.O.M. sheets that do not have this note and are only 8.5 x 11 size sheets where all other sheets are 11 x 17
