nx9 pattern of holes (c-bores) 2

Hi Guys,

I was using pattern features of c-bore holes on a link body with blend. first "mother" holes is extending up to cut the blend nicely but the holes from pattern are not doing that... do you know if I may fix that with some options or I need to i.e. do synchronous modeling and delete faces?

Please use variational method in pattern method for pattern feature. I am attaching an image herewith.
