What causes the annoying screen jumping all the time.
Open a dialog box...the screen jumps.
Close a dialog box...the screen jumps.
Open an operation...the screen jumps.
Exit an operation...the screen jumps.

It's driving me nuts and wearing me out!

Thanks,
Travis

Are you working on a laptop or Desktop?

With the laptop; Do you have a dedicated Graphicscard? If so did you disable the on processor Graphics card?

Did you check the Certification MAtrix from Siemens?

As far as I can see the "M" cards from NVidea are only certified (Win 10) for Mobile Workstations.

Win10 x64 isn't even supported for NX9, according to the spreadsheet I just downloaded from GTAC. Only Win7, Win8 & Win8.1.

That doesn't mean you can't get NX to run on another version of Windows - it just means that they won't offer support if there are issues when you choose to do so.

I got to watching this a little closer.
The jumping is caused by the top border bar changing.
As an example: If I pick the Icon to "measure distance" several icons for point selection pop up in the top border bar forcing the rest of the icons off to the right thus making the screen jump.
Hopefully there is a way to stop this as it is annoying as hell.

Which version of NX are you using? Would be better if you put this information in your signature. Depending on the NX version there might be different solutions.

I would suggest that you change the layout of your toolbars / Ribbons. Although I myself have never experienced this behaviour or at least not in such a way that it was extremely anoying.
What size screen are you working on? What is the position of your toolbars? (Top/Left/Right/Bottom)

Ronald - his version is in the topic title.

Travis - are you using the latest drivers for your video card? That can sometimes solve issues such as this.

I fixed it.
Too many icons in the top boarder bar.
I moved few too the bottom and deleted a couple that I seldom use.
This opened up enough space for those that pop up during certain applications like in the example from my previous post.
