NXOpen Error - xxx is not a member of NXOpen API - Journal for automating tasks

Hi All,

I am fairly new to the NX Environment, and I wanted to automate a task that takes a lot of time right now for sake of efficiency. I used AI tools to come up with a code to achieve the objective, but I am getting 7-8 errors in the code saying some methods such as layer manager, angle.span, ScaleTo etc are not members of the NXOpen API, even though I am importing the NXOpen Library. Please suggest what can be done. What I understand is that the methods written in the code are not reflected in the NXOpen Library version stored locally in my machine. Possibly the local version is outdated?

AI tools are not very familiar with NXOpen and will suggest functions from other frameworks or simply invent function names that sound like they would be in NXOpen, but are not. Don't trust them. Double check their work. Search for the function names in the NXOpen docs to see if they actually exist.

The journal recorder is the best way to get started on a project.
