Re: NX V6

I have a file which indicates that I have 40 objects on layer 1 in the layer settings dialog, object count column.

I have run multiple part cleanups, performed show all, checked modeling and drafting, fit screen, and verified there are no groups. Although NX still tells me there are objects on layer 1, I can't find them.

Any suggestions on what they could be , or a series of commands to try to help identify them? I don't necessarily want to delete them before I know what they are.

Thank you,

Tom R

They could be groups or lightweight facet objects.
Turn timestamp order off in the part navigator (right click on the column headers to find this). You should see objects listed in the also add layer as a cloumn if you don't have it and you should be able to find and delete things left on layer 10 if you don't want them.

If it is an assembly, could be component pointers.
Have you looked for View-dependent entities?

Thank you for the suggestions.

My issue is now resolved.

I discovered that the assembly constraints were all on layer 1 but not displayed.
