Object handles on NX6

Another question from nx3 to nx6…

In nx3 there was a button in the reposition component dialogue box that allow you to ‘snap handles to WCS’. Is there a way to do this in nx6? Maybe a shortcut key or something?

One more question about the handles when moving an object or component. Is there a way to reset it to the original position of the object, component or is it forever where you move it if you move handles only?

Also in nx3 there was the reset button in a dialogue bock with X, Y , Z that set all numbers to Zero. I no longer see that either but very often used it. Is that a short cut now or just no longer something that can be done. Clicking and then hitting 0 for all 3 spots is well, less productive.

Thank you again

First select the Component of interest, then select the 'Specify Orientation' section of the dialog and toggle ON the 'Move handles Only' option, then select the handle itself and press MB3 selecting the 'Orient Handle to WCS' option and now just enter 0,0,0 to move it to the current WCS's origin.

And to reset the handle back to it's original orientation after moving it, just select the handle, press MB3 and select the 'Reset Handle' option.

Now as for resetting the Point dialog values back to 0,0,0, just go up to the top of the dialog and select the 'Reset' button (it's the middle one which looks like a clockwise turning arrow as shown below).

Sweet!!

Thanks a ton John, I knew it the ability had to still be there I just couldn't figure it out and help wasn't much help.

That makes things much easier.
