I use Acad 2002 at my work. Once in a while, when I go into a drawing, my aperture and pickbox is oblong (rectangular as opposed to square) with the vertical longer than the width. I can leave the drawing and go back later and the aperture and box are square (normal).
Does anyone know what causes this? Is it just a 2002 glitch problem?
This can happen in any given drawing.

I haven't heard of this before. Next time that happens, try a regenall and see if that corrects it. If not, right-click on your screen desktop and do a refresh. Empty your temporary file because sometimes ACAD acts buggy if it doesn't get all the memory it needs.

Dear SouthernDrafter,
It is just a bug in AutoCAD.
I saw it into AutoCAD R14 and 2000 too.

That's kinda what I thought, though I never noticed it in 14. Our company went from 14 to 2002, so I don't know much about 2000 either. Thanks yall. I reckon I'll just ignore it from now on, since it doesn't present a logistical problem for me.
