Obtaining second order of work

I am willing to get the following output : Second order of Work that is multiplication of stress and strain. Such operation seems invalid in ABAQUS
How can i do that .?

You can do this in ABAQUS/CAE (Viewer module). Tools - Create Field output - From fields.

Of course you'll have to be careful what you are multiplying - you can't just try to multiply the E tensor and the S tensor. You can, however, choose scalar components of the E and S tensors to multiply. It's all in the GUI...

The second order of work (scalar)=
dS * dE^T
where S(Stress)and E(Strain) are given in vectorial notaions each vector has three components in the plain strain case. T (Transport).
How can I do that

You can request energetic quantities to be computed by ABAQUS.

In "Step" module -> Output ->Field Output Request
you can create a new request or edit the default one to include the energetic quantities (i.e. ELEN, ENER and ELEDEN).

Btw: T=Transpose ?
